Job Description: We are seeking a Manager/Sr. Scientist for one of our clients International Corporation. They have earned a reputation as a leader in the areas of environmental risk assessment and risk management, strategic compliance management, environmental liability and exposure assessment, and fate and transport modeling. We are a leading provider of scientific and regulatory consulting services to clients in both the private and public sectors.their uniquely qualified staff of more than 700 assists their clients in addressing the complex issues stemming from hazardous substances in the environment.





We have an immediate opening for a Manager/Senior Scientist in our clients Irvine, CA office. This person will be responsible for:
• Managing and providing technical litigation support for several clients located in Southern California where the occurrence, source, toxicity, and age of chlorinated solvents, metals, and/or petroleum hydrocarbon releases are an issue;
• Providing technical support to environmental due diligence projects through the costing of technical investigation approaches, management of subcontracting, management of field investigations, interpretation of field data, and composition of client deliverables;
• Preparing client presentations, exhibits and technical summaries for mediation sessions and trial;
• Providing litigation support through the characterization of the occurrence, fate and transport of perchlorate;
• Managing and/or providing technical support for projects involving the characterization of impacts from the release of chlorinated solvents to soil and groundwater;
• Conducting extensive reviews of site investigation reports, regulatory agency case files, and environmental data, maps, and aerial photography, to assess outstanding environmental issues and identify potential assumed environmental risks;
• Providing technical expertise in the areas of environmental data management, GIS, and 3-D visualization.
Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Masters degree in Geology, Geoscience, or related Engineering field;
• Extensive experience in litigation driven assignments and expert witness work;
• Experience and capability in applied mathematics, data analysis & display;
• Experience in the characterization and remediation of manufacturing, industrial, petroleum, waste disposal and DOD Superfund sites;
• Strong writing and communication skills.
