Provide nationally recognized expert regulatory and technical knowledge to organize and lead national working groups to develop a consensus approach to resolve complex issues and implement path forward for disposition of challenging waste streams resulting from advanced fuel cycles and other energy production sources. Coordinate the resolution of issues between EPA, DOE, DOE contractors, and provate firms. Develop new or innovative regulatory approaches to management of radioactive waste. Identify, define, and develop research opportunities that facilitate the resolutionpof complex radiological/environmental issues.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors and 11 years, Masters with 9 years or Doctorate with seven years experience in coordinating the resolution of issues between EPA, DOE, DOE contractors, and provate firms. Specific experience is desirable in the development of new or innovative regulatory approaches to management of radioactive waste.
